PART II OF II
WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT AYURVEDA?
Ayurveda is known to be one of the oldest systems of healing known to man. It has its origins in ancient India. It is a medical science steeped in ancient Indian Philosophy and Spirituality, and is known as the sister science to Yoga. The two work closely hand-in-hand in helping us lead a balanced, healthy life.
In Part II of this two-part series you will:
- Learn the three constitutional types (doshas) in-depth and their subtypes
- Take a test to determine your dosha type
- Learn ways of balancing your dosha type through nutrition and daily life
- Learn postures and breathing practices that will help to balance your dosha type
This workshop will be much more hands-on than Part I. While absolutely not required, it is suggested that you have taken Part I to have a full understanding of Ayurvedic Philosophy as the basics will not be repeated in this second half.
Pre-Registration is required. 4 people minimum, signed up and paid in advance, are required to hold the event.
Counts as 3 CE credits for Yoga Alliance members under the Yoga Lifestyle, Philosophy & Ethics category. Yoga Teachers and Non-Teachers may both take this course.
