Each phase of the moon’s cycle has a unique visual characteristic and spiritual meaning. The cool darkness of the first lunar phase, the New Moon, encourages gradual and deliberate movement. Its quiet energy is supportive of solitude, contemplation, and self-reflection:

The ancient yogis connected the moon to the deeper states reached through sleep, diving deep into the oceans of the subconscious and experiencing the workings of imagination through dreams.

Yoga Nidra, also known as “Yoga Sleep,” brings the body into a space of deep relaxation, allowing you to bypass the critical mind and reach deep into the subconscious. A full-body guided meditation prompts the body to relax deeply while the mind remains inwardly alert, yet still lucid, in that magical time just before you fall asleep. Yoga Nidra is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness.

Join us for a celestial evening of very gentle Yoga Asana, Moon Mantras and Mudras, Lunar Pranayama, Sacred Sound, and Yoga Nidra.

To ensure the safety and comfort of our attendees, presenters, and staff, the doors will lock promptly at the posted start time and late entries will not permitted. Please do not knock on the door if you are late and the door is locked.

Black Cat Yoga workshops and events are nonrefundable, and your reservation can only be used for the date it was purchased for. In the event that a workshop or event is canceled by us, participants will receive a full refund or a credit to their studio account. Absences or late arrivals to a workshop or series are nonrefundable.
